Bhagwati Saraswati is the energy or shakti or wife of Bhagwan Brahma, not his daughter.

Only those who are truly knowledgeable should make a statement; the rest should always ask questions in the quest of knowledge and refrain from making a statement. This argument is for those who carelessly talk about something not with an intention to hurt religious sentiment. Those whose sole purpose is to mock at any religion should not be given any podium to propagate their filth.

Whether Bhagwati Saraswati emerged from Bhagwan Brahma's forehead, Bhagwan Vishnu's forehead or from the left side of Bhagwan Brahma, as mentioned in various scriptures, the fact remains that Bhagwati Saraswati is not anyone's daughter. 

The Saptarishis are Bhagwan Brahma's manas putras, or mind-born sons.

Bhagwati Saraswati is Bhagwan Brahma's shakti, or energy, just as Bhagwati Lakshmi is Bhagwan Vishnu's and Bhagwati Parvati is Bhagwan Shiva's.

Shatarupa and Saraswati are not the same. 

Bhagwati Saraswati is the presiding deity of knowledge, wisdom, arts and speech. She is Bhagwan Brahma's energy.

After creating his manas putras, or mind-born sons, Bhagwan Brahma thought of populating the universe. He prayed to Bhagwan Shiva, who appeared as Ardhanarishwara, or half female. Bhagwati Parvati emerged from the left side of Bhagwan Shiva to state that both male and female energies are required for populating the universe.

Then Bhagwan Brahma created the Svayambhuva Manu, the first male, and Shatarupa, the first female, to mate and populate the universe.
